Nasreddin Hoca

A man from a neighboring village owed some money to Nasraddin Hodja. When he didn't pay it back at the time he had said he would, Hodja went to see him to demand repayment of the loan. But the man said that thing were so bad that he had no money to pay the dept.
On the way back home Hodja became very tired and hungry. Suddenly, he found himslef passing a baker's shop and the aroma of freshly baked breads made him hungrier still.
He had no money in his pocket, but still entered the store, and at a moment the baker wasn't around, Nasraddin Hodja all of a sudden took a loaf of bread from the counter and left.
Further down the road, he sat under a shady tree, looked up to the heavens and said, “Oh, God, you know why I did this. I'm hungry, and have not a penny in my pocket and that man owes me money. You are all-powerfull, You are omniscient, You are forgiving. Please God Almighty, take two piasters from my accountfrom that manwho owes me money and give it to the baker.”
