The Wolf and The Lion
A Wolf, having stolen a lamb out of a herd, was carrying him off to his lair.
However, the wolf is suddenly encountered with a threatening lion which seized the lamb and took it from him.
The wolf, standing at a safe distance, exclaimed: "You unjustly have taken that lamb which was mine from me!"
The lion, laughing at him, replied: "It was fairly yours, eh? It was the gift of a friend?
The Dog and the Oyster
A Dog, living on eating eggs, saw an Oyster, supposed it to be an egg and swallowed it down by opening his mouth to its widest extent with the utmost pleasure.
After all, he began to suffer a great pain in his stomach and exclaimed: I deserve all this torment because of my idiocy supposing everything round as an egg.
